Scott Rerucha of Seattle-based Legacy Group Capital joins Lance once again to shoot some arrows at the banks. Legacy has worked for years with borrowers and builders on ground-up single- and multi-family projects, creating a thriving alternative to bank financing. Lance and Scott talk about Legacy’s approach to assisting custom home builders, and exploiting the many flaws in the strategy of banks, from bloated approval times to outdated regulatory approaches to misguided underwriting.

Scott is the CEO and a co-founder of Legacy Group Capital (LGC). Scott is a mortgage industry veteran possessing over 27 years of experience. From 2006 to 2014 Scott was the President & CEO of Legacy Group Holdings. His leadership saw Legacy Group Holdings become the 35th largest real-estate lender in the country. Scott’s industry experience and leadership will be instrumental in leading Legacy Group Capital to long-term growth and success.
